Nate Nanna
Founder
Full Plate Home Loans was founded by Nate Nanna to prove that mortgage lending can be built as a permanent public-benefit institution—one designed to serve families, strengthen communities, and create structural support for hunger relief.
With more than twelve years of experience in mortgage banking, Nate recognized that the industry’s incentives were misaligned with long-term public good. Rather than building another profit-maximizing lender, he set out to design a foundation-owned model that removes exit pressure, prevents mission drift, and permanently dedicates profits to regional food banks.
Under this structure, Full Plate Home Loans is owned by an independent foundation. All profits flow through the foundation to support the regional food bank serving each borrower’s community, while operating efficiencies are reinvested to reduce borrower interest rates over time.
Full Plate Home Loans is not designed to exit. It is being built to endure.
