About Us

Full Plate Home Loans exists to create intergenerational permanence for food banks support through foundation ownership.

Full Plate Home Loans is being built as a foundation-owned institution. All profits flow through an independent foundation and are permanently directed to hunger-relief purposes in the communities where they are generated.

Our foundation model is being designed using the same ownership principles behind Newman's Own - where a commercial enterprise is owned by a foundation to ensure permanence, prevent mission drift, and protect public trust.

Through this structure, Full Plate Home Loans is designed to function not merely as a business, but as a permanent public-benefit institution that happens to use mortgage lending as its engine.

 Governance & Operations

The foundation exists to protect purpose and provide governance. Day-to-day mortgage operations are executed by professional management within the operating company.

At Full Plate Home Loans, AI supports consistency, fairness, and efficiency — while human judgment and accountability remain central. This design removes commission-driven sales structures, strengthens oversight, and reinvests operating efficiencies into structurally lower borrower rates and permanent food bank support.

Owned by an independent foundation, Full Plate Home Loans is designed for permanence — built to serve communities for generations.

Hunger in America Today

Did you know, per the Economic Research institute, over 47 million Americans are now food insecure, 14 million of which are children. Equally staggering is that in America today, 100% of U.S. counties now have varying levels of food insecurity. With little relief in sight, food insecurity in American is projected to grow another 15% in the years ahead.

Good News, American's Want to Do More!

Studies conducted by Wells Fargo and Fidelity Investments found,

  • 57% of Americans want to give more but just cannot financially do so.

  • 75% of Americans would donate more if the ability to give did not impact their immediate finances.

  • 75% of Americans would give more if they could find a ‘seamless’ way to donate to a non-profit relationship during a transaction.

Volunteers

Bottom Line...

Full Plate Home Loans is being built as a permanent public-benefit institution. Mortgage lending is not the mission — it is the engine. The mission is to create a structure that converts everyday economic activity into a stable, long-term source of support for regional food banks, while continuously reinvesting success into greater borrower affordability.

This institution is designed so that growth increases public benefit, efficiency lowers borrower cost, and success strengthens — rather than compromises — the original purpose.
